What our members said:
8 Jan 2003 - This is a definite "must have" for those seeking a more healthy life-style and for those wanting less mess in the kitchen. I cannot remember the last time I used my "proper" grill as this is brilliant. It cooks food so that it is succulent - steak is fantastic, fish fingers, chicken nuggets, sausages are never overdone (burnt!). Toasted sandwiches are also easier to make in this as opposed to a sandwich maker. Cleaning is very easy - no burnt on fat to contend with. There is very little food odour. It doesn't set the smoke alarm off continually! What more can I say, except that it's lovely to know that the fat is literally dripping away and is easy to dispose of afterwards. 2 Feb 2003 - we have used the larger version for a year now and would be lost without it the frying pan is dead long live the LMFGM

Available in most large supermarkets/department stores.
This grill, heavily promoted by the boxer George Foreman, seems to be in every shop I look in. Its selling point is that it is supposed to be the healthy way to grill and, because it cooks both sides at once, quicker than your ordinary grill. I tried a cooking a couple of chicken breasts and these were cooked in just 7 minutes. The fat drains away into a separate tray, making ideal for slimmers. It was easy to clean as the grill plates are non-stick. The grill comes in several different sizes and is often on promotion at your local store so can be quite reasonably priced.
